Start by selecting from five panel types: Swing Single for pedestrian or single-vehicle entrances, Swing Double for wider driveways, Slide Single or Slide Double for properties with limited swing clearance, or Fence Panel to design matching fence sections.
Choose your preferred unit system — imperial (inches/feet) or metric (millimeters) — then enter the opening width and gate height to match your customer's requirements. Adjust individual frame sizes (left, right, top, bottom) to specify tube dimensions. For sloped driveways, add a slope height to automatically rake the gate design.
Set picket size and spacing to achieve your desired look. Enable top, middle, or bottom rails and position them precisely. Choose whether pickets extend through rails to the frame, or terminate at the rail. Add solid panels between rails for privacy sections.
Elevate your design with decorative details. Add spear points or finials (classic spear, fleur-de-lis, trident, ball top) to picket tops. Include twisted pickets and decorative collars. Add rings between rails for an ornamental touch. Configure upright caps with pyramid, ball, or pointed styles.
For swing gates, add hinges and specify their positions from the top and bottom of the gate. Include a mag lock or lock box for access control. For slide gates, configure wheel boxes, track style (V-track or cantilever), and extension lengths.
Once your design is complete, export it in multiple formats. Generate a PDF for customer presentations, export as PNG for quick sharing, or download a DXF file for direct import into CAD software or CNC plasma tables.
