Built by an ornamental iron professional, for ornamental iron professionals.
Ornamental Designer Pro wasn't created by a software company looking to enter the ornamental iron industry. It was created by someone who has lived and breathed gates, fences, and handrails for over three decades.
For years, I used Ornamental Pro 2010 to create my gate drawings. It was simple, it was effective, and it got the job done. But when that program was discontinued and no longer supported, I found myself without a tool that worked the way I needed it to.
Like many of you, I tried to adapt. I attempted to teach myself AutoCAD — the industry standard, they said. The learning curve was brutal. Then I tried FabCAD, watching tutorial after tutorial, but I couldn't make it click. SketchUp? Same story. These tools were built for designers and engineers, not for ornamental iron professionals who just need to get a clean drawing to a customer quickly.
That's when I had a vision: what if there was a tool designed specifically for people like me? A tool that understood ornamental iron terminology, components, and workflows. Something where you could select "swing double" instead of drawing rectangles. Where adding pickets was a setting, not an hour of manual placement.
After years of dreaming about it, I finally had the opportunity to bring that vision to life. Ornamental Designer Pro is the result — a tool built from 30+ years of ornamental iron industry experience, designed to work the way gate, fence, and handrail professionals actually think and work.

I'm Josiah Fuerte, a native Seattleite, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. When I'm not thinking about ornamental iron (which, let's be honest, is rare), I'm spending time with my wife and our four wonderful kids.
Building Ornamental Designer Pro has been a labor of love. Every feature comes from real experience — from the jobs I've quoted, the gates and fences I've built, and the drawings I've created over three decades in this industry.
My goal is simple: to give ornamental iron professionals a tool that actually works for them. No CAD degree required. No weeks of training. Just open it up and start designing.
Get drawings done in minutes, not hours. Your time is valuable — spend it closing deals, not fighting software.
If you can fill out a form, you can create designs. No CAD training, no steep learning curves, no frustration.
Output that looks professional and is fabrication-ready. Because your work deserves to look as good as it is.
Open the designer and see for yourself — no account needed.
